WWE DVD Review: Brock Lesnar- Eat, Sleep, Conquer, Repeat

There’s no denying Brock Lesnar is one of the most- if not the most dominant force in sports entertainment history. You almost have to be to be the one to break The Undertaker’s undefeated Wrestlemania streak. The last few years have been some of the most decisive of Lesnar’s career and have seen him at the peak of his athleticism. Some of his biggest moments have come in the last few years and WWE has released a DVD collection to commemorate the man’s career. This isn’t the first DVD set they’ve released for Lesnar so they needed to find a way to make it different and separate it to make it its own and they definitely have. The current inception of Lesnar’s character doesn’t see him speak very often. Rather, he has his Advocate- Paul Heyman- speak for him. However, on most of these documentaries, we see interview segments featuring interviews with the Superstar being focused on. So to keep the aura and mystic of Lesnar intact, they feature only archived interviews with Lesnar, which couldn’t be more creative. Some of Lesnar’s biggest rivalries are featured- Kurt Angle, Mr. Perfect, CM Punk, The Undertaker, Triple H, John Cena, Seth Rollins more- as well as some of the biggest moments- breaking Undertaker’s Wrestlemania Streak, decimating John Cena at Summerslam, becoming the youngest WWE Champion in history and more. In the end, this DVD collection is a masterpiece and a homerun for numerous reasons. They showcase Lesnar’s career and history while keeping the integrity of the on-screen character while still letting the man take you on a journey. -Reggie Edwards
