My brain is utterly confused by Upon Wings’
latest album,
Afterlife.
What we have here is a mix of operetta style vocals, which tend to go flat, along with a rock-sounding backdrop.
This band definitely has an Evanescence-esque sound to them but not in a good way. Although I do give credit for their efforts in attempting a new style of music, in the end the vocals just weren’t strong enough to go along with the solid music playing.
This band definately needs a makeover.
