Trevor McNevan of Thousand Foot Krutch talks OXYGEN:INALE

Canadian rockers Thousand Foot Krutch are the latest band to cross over from Christian success to mainstream popularity. Formed in 1995 in Tornoto and led by founding frontman Trevor McNevan, TFK have recently released their latest record, OXYGEN:INHALE to overwhelming acclaim from fans and critics alike. TFK, much like their fellow Christian bands Red and Skillet, have stayed true to what they believe through all the mainstream success and, because of this, have developed an even stronger fanbase. Their impressive meshing of metal and rap elements is infection and addicting and it’s near-impossible for fans to discover them and dislike them. On the live front, TFK have always been one the most entertaining bands to see. From the early years of Set It Off to the present, they’ve always brought their A-game and delivered one of the best shows you’ll ever see. Never putting out the same record twice, 2014 sees TFK bringing us OXYGEN:INHALE, the follow-up to their immensely-successful The End Is Where We Begin, which saw them find a new batch of fans and catapulted them to spots on every major festival in the mainstream rock world. The sky is the limit for TFK and its rare that nearly 20 years into a band’s career they would be on the rise again but that’s exactly what the band is experiencing. Frontman Trevor McNevan recently sat down with The Front Row Report to talk about their faith, new album, touring plans, the early days and the band’s rise in popularity over the last few years.
