SnakeyeS: Welcome to the Snake Pit review

There are few bands today who use the “classic” metal approach and style. There are shades of it in many bands’ music but few are a straight-up classic metal band. SnakeyeS are one of those bands. Their debut EP, Welcome to the Snake Pit, is sure to get  on the good side of any metal purist and, regardless of how new or unknown SnakeyeS are, they’re sure to garner a following after the masses hear this record. In the vein of bands like Judas Priest and Rainbow, SnakeyeS have the sound we all know and love from metal artists. Short and sweet, SnakeyeS have struck gold here and their upcoming full-length release should be one of the most anticipated from any unsigned metal band around. Rating: 9/10 -Reggie Edwards
