Review: Burial Party- Please, Electric Move Slow

An album or EP doesn’t have to be long to be powerful and that’s the case with Burial Party’s Please, Electric Move Slow. The EP- four tracks-long- is loaded with aggression, emotion, honesty and energy, all pulled into one, as well as punk and hardcore combined and it’s a pure adrenaline rush from start to finish.  However, while the songs are intense and heavily driven by frustrated emotion, there’s still plenty of melody and structure- it’s like if The Chariot were under control and not completely insane.   Please, Electric Move Slow is produced very well and these songs are the soundtrack to anyone’s life that’s loaded with obstacles and who needs an outlet to let the rage out; You can turn this on, turn it up, let loose and be yourself and no one will give a shit.  The songs are also just short enough that you can breeze through the 4 tracks in just around 10 minutes and keep going and going.  Rating: 8/10 -Reggie Edwards
