Marilyn Manson goes lullaby via Twinkle Twinkle Little Rockstar

Parents who wish to get their kids into metal at an early age are in for a treat with Twinkle Twinkle Little Rockstar’s latest release. They’ve been transforming rock and metal classics into children’s lullabies for awhile now and their latest incarnation is guaranteed to be a winner in Marilyn Manson. Metallica, Slayer, Motley Crue, Guns n Roses, Tool, Avenged Sevenfold, System of a Down and numerous others have all been part of the fun and now Marilyn Manson, which, on the surface may not make sense will join the party. It’s perfect, though, if you think about it. Listening to the tunes in their new form is almost creepy but just cute enough to calm a sleeping child. Songs like “The Beautiful People,” “The Dope Show,” “This is the New S-t” and nine others are on the track listing. Even Manson’s cover songs made the cut- “Sweet Dreams,” “Personal Jesus,” “Tainted Love” and “This is Halloween” are on there too! “These aren’t novelty recordings,” write Twinkle Twinkle Little Rock Star. “They are cute, they are soft but these are serious recordings. Roma Music Group, which releases Twinkle Twinkle Little Rock Star, is run by two music industry veterans who put the fidelity of these recording at the top of the priority list. Let’s face it, much like the brand name clothes you buy for your infant, this music is really for you. Whether you are raising a metal baby, rocker or hippie baby, Twinkle Twinkle Little Rock Star has your music transformed from arena anthems into nursery classics.” Listen to TTLRS’s version of ‘The Dope Show’ in the video above and check out the album’s full track listing below! ‘Lullaby Versions of Marilyn Manson will become available digitally on Nov. 26.
