UFO and Saxon are currently out on tour bringing along with them Jared James Nichols and the trek recently played Soundstage in Baltimore Maryland to a packed house with Nichols opening the night.
It was one amazing performance; he is extremely talented and has an awesome voice. He played “Can You Feel It?” And “Last Chance” as well as one of the best covers of “Stranglehold” that I have heard in a long time. He also performed his cover of “Mississippi Queen”.
Saxon is one of the most iconic metal bands in my opinion. This was my first time ever seeing them live and it was perfect. They haven\’t missed a single beat over the years and vocalist Biff Byford sounded phenomenal.
They played hits such as “I\’ve Got To Rock”, “Motorcycle Man” and “747”. They actually let the crowd choose which song they wanted to hear for two different songs which was really awesome and fun for the audience.
UFO closed out the night with a flawless performance. Frontman Phil Mogg took the time after several songs to talk and joke with the audience (and even joking with us photographers). The whole band was extremely energetic and a lot of fun to watch on stage.
They played a really good range of songs such as “Love to Love”, “Rock Bottom” and “Only You Can Rock Me”. They also played their hits “Doctor Doctor” and “Shoot Shoot”.
All of these bands on their own are phenomenal but together for one night it\’s an all around good time with the tour ending its run in Indianapolis.
