Behemoth, Lamb of God and the almighty Slayer recently played at Pier Six in Baltimore Maryland and even though the weather was less than desirable, it did not stop fans from having an awesome time. These three bands together in one night are what dreams are made of for metal fans. It was an all-around badass show.
Behemoth opened up the night. All the way from Poland these dudes know how to put on a show and their microphone stands are by far the coolest things I\’ve ever seen. They had kind of a short set but it was packed with killer songs such as “Conquer All” and “Decade of Therion”.
Lamb of God took the stage next. These guys just don\’t stop on stage. Randy Blythe is constantly running around and jumping and putting off so much energy. They played their hits “Redneck” and “512” as well as my personal favorite- “Laid to Rest”. You can never go wrong with seeing them live.
Lastly was Slayer. They put on a hell of a show every single time making sure they give fans a show they will never forget. While they toned it down with the pyro on this tour, I personally preferred the show without it. Tom Araya always takes time to address the audience and I love that. They opened their set with “Repentless”. They also played “Hell Awaits” and “Mandatory Suicide”. They ended their set in the most perfect way by playing “Raining Blood”, “Chemical Warfare” and then “Angel of Death”.
This tour is one of the best ones of this season- hands down. It\’s a night full of some of the most talented musicians in the metal world today that put on a hell of a performance. This is not one to be missed. The tour runs through August 20th.
