24 hours after Rob Zombie and Alice Cooper brought the monsters onto the Ruoff Music Center stage, it was a completely different atmosphere. Over 24,000 fans crammed into the pavilion and lawn made the amphitheater show feel like it was in a stadium, deafening and partying like there was no tomorrow when Pitbull and T-Pain brought their tour to Noblesville.
After two DJ sets, T-Pain took the stage for a set loaded with nostalgia. Dancing around the stage, his set alternated between snippets of songs he’s featured on and classic songs from the mid-2000’s, taking the crowd back to the clubs of 2007.
It was a high-energy set that had the crowd singing along to every song and making the older fans relive their younger days but also giving the younger fans a glimpse into the past.
Between sets, it was a full-on party. Fans were dancing in the aisles, in the walkways, and drinking like there was no tomorrow and they were deafening in volume as the lights went down for Pitbull.
With LED screens that covered the back and both sides of the stage, the production was out of this world and Mr. Worldwide himself emerged from the back of the stage. As he walked down the steps to the front of the stage, the dancing girls surrounded him and the party had begun.
During costume changes, the DJ on stage would keep the party going with classic rock-infused dance sets and the crowd lost control of where they were, dancing everywhere and the lawn became a full-fledged rager of a rave.
Late in the set, T-Pain joined Pitbull, one wearing a red suit and the other wearing yellow, for which T-Pain told the crowd “Tell everyone this was Deadpool & Wolverine!”
If there was a perfect way to close out the summer and head into Fall, this show was exactly that. Even if fans didn’t know any of Pitbull’s songs, there was something for everyone during the show and made it impossible for anyone to not have the night of their life.
