Toronto-based Smashing Satellites have released a new instant grat track entitled \”Us,\” to be featured on the band\’s forthcoming album SonicAluzion, out on 6/16 via Aluzion Records. The track premiered exclusively at All Music, who says, \”The uptempo track features a sound that blends R&B, funk, disco, and electronic music that brings to mind Daft Punk\’s more lighthearted, organic moments.\” \”Us\” is the follow up instant grat track to the recently released \”What It\’s All About,\” which dropped in April.
\”SonicAluzion captures a particular timeline in my life of great highs and lows…triumphs and failures…the beginning of the end…the end and the beginning,\” explains vocalist Salvatore Costa in an interview with Diffuser. \”There is a bipolarity to this record much like the point of time in which it was written and recorded and subsequently, much like myself.\”
