Review: F*** Marry Kill is a fun take on true crime podcasts and dating apps that keeps you guessing

What happens when a serial killer utilizes a popular dating app to find and executed their victims? In F*** Marry Kill, we see exactly what the answer is.

When Eva (Lucy Hale) realizes she’s never had a one night stand or a real dating life and decides to join an app, she gets involved with three different men at the same time- a casual recurring hook up, a potential spouse and a genuinely nice guy- she has to figure out if one of them is the viral “Swipe Right Killer,” which has bee making waves throughout the city and has caught fire on a popular true crime podcast.

Throughout the movie, Eva and her friends all get together to talk about which one Eva would fuck, which of the three she would marry and who she would kill out of the three- a chef & entrepreneur, a veterinarian and a home security installer. As she gets heavier involved with all three, she starts seeing signs that relate to the actual murder case and finds herself trying to solve the case while also trying to figure out if she’s actually dating the famous killer.

The plot is genius, and the comedy is smart and witty. The movie makes light of people who listen to true crime podcasts and watch the shows, thinking they’re real detectives and experts but not in an insulting way.

The movie keeps you guessing and on your toes while the climax and finish of the movie is one that will have you at the edge of your seat. F*** Marry Kill is a fun true crime comedy that you’ll be dying to watch again.
