Live: Motionless In White in Indy

Few bands have seen a trajectory like Motionless in White. Less than 10 years ago, they were playing side stages at Warped Tour and were one of the most promising up-and-coming bands in all of metal.

Enter 2026 and they’ve become of the top bands in all of music, selling out arenas and amphitheaters with multiple no. 1 singles and a fanbase that will go to war and die for them.

Their latest record- Decades has already spawned a single ready to hit no. 1 in “RIP” and has a cavalcade of guaranteed hits, and their latest summer tour features a lineup that differs from one another in every way.

UK’s Static Dress opened up the show with a set that you honestly couldn’t hear due to the mix being off. The vocals were drowned out by the instrumentals, but the fans didn’t care and rocked out for the entire set and loved every minute.

Fit For A King was up next and cranked the energy up.

With Ryan “Tuck” O’Leary jumping around the stage, blowing bubblegum bubbles while he played bass, singer Ryan Kirby flawlessly switching between clean and unclean vocals, the band lived up to their reputation and kept the crowd going before Lorna Shore took over.

Lorna took the stage and the intensity went through the roof.

With a set loaded with aggression and visceral energy, the band ripped the crowd’s throats out and didn’t look back. The fans were ready to throw down with Lorna and gave every ounce of energy back to Lorna that was thrown at them, and it was truly an experience to be had.

Motionless In White closed out the night with a set that was tailor-made for the longtime MIW fan. They played just enough hits and newer tracks to keep the new MIW fans happy but threw in a lot of Motionless diehard fan favorites that hadn’t been heard in awhile or that the dedicated fan always wanted to hear live.

They even brought out Lorna Shore’s Will Ramos to team up for a song.

With Cherry Bombs sharing the stage with MIW throughout the night to add to the already-crazy pyro, the MIW set was a visual masterpiece that made sure that that established MIW fan got what they wanted but also that the new MIW fan solidified their fandom.
