Live: Everclear, Local H & Sponge take Indy back in time

Everclear have been out on the Sparkle and Fade 30th Anniversary Tour since early 2025 and are in the final leg of the trek. They recently stopped at Indy’s Egyptian Room with Sponge and Local H for a night of true nostalgia and rock memories.

Sponge opened the night with a high-energy set that was geared toward getting the crowd loose, warmed up and ready to rock. 31 years into their career, they still know how to bring it and stay just as relevant and memorable as ever.

Local H was up next and exploded onto the stage like a stick of dynamite exploding in a crowd of people.

Singer Scott Lucas ran and strutted around the stage like a man possessed while drummer Ryan Harding pounded away, both commanding the crowd match their intensity before they got settled in for the rest of the low-lit intimately aggressive set. Their raw energy proved they still have some bite left in the chamber.

Everclear wrapped up the night with more than just a concert set- they gave the crowd an experience and a journey into the past.

The low lights and stripped down stage set up gave a journey into the past. Fans were standing around, smiling huge, drinking, singing as loud as they could and just soaking in every note from every song.

Singer Art Alexakis told stories, reminiscing about the 90’s and making sure the crowd knew they were more than just fans- they were family- making for one hell of a concert experience.
