1 Girl Nation review

Christian music today is evolving at a rapid rate. There’s a comparison and match for virtually any artist and genre in the mainstream (or secular) music world and they’re usually pretty accurate.
There was once a day where Christian music was considered a joke by many people and was pretty stereotypical. Those days are gone now and it’s not out of the ordinary to see Tobymac, Red, Skillet, Thousand Foot Krutch, Mandisa orLecrae performing, collaborating or touring with their mainstream counterparts.
The Christian pop world finally has their legitimate answer to artists like Miley Cyrus, Justin Bieber or any dance/pop artist out there in 1 Girl Nation, who’s self-titled debut record came courtesy of Reunion Records not too long ago.
1 Girl Nation could be compared to this generation’s Spice Girls or B*Witched but with more maturity and uplifting lyrics.
Loaded with catchy dance-worthy tracks that are guaranteed to get you moving, 1 Girl Nation have what it takes to be the next Christian artist to break out into the mainstream with success and make a mark.
Featuring inspirational and motivationally positive lyrics that don’t push any belief system on anyone, 1 Girl Nation are going to be big- there’s no question about it. These girls get it- they know what today’s youth need to hear and they know how to tell them without going too far or alienating anyone in the process.
They’ve captured the attention of some of the major Christian artists early-on as well, with an impressive collaboration with up-and-comers Royal Tailor that will just blow you away.
Look for 1 Girl Nation to make a serious statement and start a major movement in the near future.
